Between this past Saturday and Sunday, Toasts in Tow served at 4 different events in 4 different parts of the state. We had the honor of kicking the weekend off with Mallory & Ali at their beautiful garden-brunch wedding shower! The party was hosted by the amazing Penny Beebe (Ali’s mother)! Penny is known for throwing amazing events at her farmhouse in Roland!
The Setup & Menu
The party itself was hosted on the entirety of Penny’s stunning land with multiple locations for guests to lounge including the inside the house, the pool area, the garden area, and the tented driveway. We were located under the tent where the majority of seating was. For this morning shower, Penny wanted to offer guests a variety of mimosas to enjoy with their brunch. We brought along a few of our favorite juices- orange, pineapple, cranberry, grapefruit, and cranberry-mango. Guests were able to pick their favorite juice or mix and match to create a delicious one-of-a-kind mimosa. Penny also wanted to include a signature cocktail named after Mallory & Ali’s precious fur-baby, Dexter! The Dexter cocktail was an apple pie moonshine mule that we have served at Penny’s house in the past. This sweet cocktail made with moonshine, apple cider, lime juice, and ginger beer is a Toasts in Tow crafted cocktail that Penny loves.
The Team
An amazing shower like this could not have come together without some of the best vendors around! We were so excited to serve alongside Vibrant Occasions Catering who provided the brunch specialties (even an on-site omelet bar!). The cake and sweets were made by Blue Cake Company on Bowman! Just Peachy crafted the amazing balloons at the gate and in the pool (so cute!). The tent (which held up through a fierce storm the night before) was brought by Confetti’s. Rentals and all floral were provided by Tanarah Luxe Floral! Tanarah & Steven (of Tanarah Luxe Florals) helped plan this event with Penny, and all three 100% outdid themselves with this gorgeous event!
