How It All Started

For owners Madeleine Rhodes and Jessica Taylor, Toasts in Tow started as a dream.  After much research, they discovered that there was a need for a unique mobile bartending service in Arkansas. With that in mind, they bought their first trailer.  With the help of Marty Rhodes (Madeleine’s father), they worked to renovate the empty enclosed trailer into a stylish, event-ready mobile bar.

Madeleine, a current teacher and coach, has a Bachelors in Education and a Masters degree in Sports Administration.  She is excited to use her passion and talents in design and marketing to help grow Toasts in Tow across the state of Arkansas.

Jessie currently works in the Athletic Department at UCA as Foundation Specialist.  She has an MBA from UCA.  Her knowledge from her MBA program paired with her experience gained in planning for the UCA Foundation will allow her help Toasts in Tow become the premiere mobile bar in Arkansas.

The Toasts in Tow trailer began as an empty 6 by 12 enclosed trailer purchased in Bryant, Arkansas.  Even empty, Maddie and Jessie were able to see the potential of the cargo trailer.  To make sure the trailer was “event ready”, many renovations were needed including a serving window, lights, flooring, stained walls, plumbing, and more.  To ensure that the trailer could be plugged into a standard 110 outlet, a 30 amp box and RV adapter were used.  To take extra safety precautions, a breaker box was also installed.  If you want to read more about the bar renovations, visit our blog.
