November 20th turned out to be the perfect fall day to host a wedding shower, and we were lucky enough to be invited! Courtney and Jacob’s shower was hosted by Lacy Maggio. We originally met Lacy at a previous event where she was doing a balloon installation (THE CUTEST!). So of course, we were so excited to work with Lacy again!
The Setup
The shower was located at Courtney and Jacob’s house in North Little Rock. Their fenced back yard with a multi-level outdoor area made for the perfect outdoor gathering. Our mobile bar was able to fit in right next to the outdoor area. Shoutout to Jacob and Matt for lifting and moving the trailer to fit in the perfect spot!! With a fall theme in mind, the trailer was decorated with pumpkins, fall leaves, and of course, Lacy’s amazing balloons!
The Menu
This had to be one of the most fun menus we have had the pleasure to help develop. The couple had both beer (Bud Light and Mich Ultra) and wine (Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon) as options for guests. They also had different vodka cocktails available. Their guests could choose from sprite, cranberry, and orange juice as vodka mixers. Of course, original mimosas were available, but our favorite menu item was the signature drink! “THE BENTLEY” was a fall mimosa made with apple cider and was named after Jacob and Courtney’s adorable pup, Bentley! When we heard they wanted to name a drink after him, we HAD to include a few pictures of Bentley on our menus.
Bentley
Bentley, Jacob and Courtney’s dog, made a surprise appearance later in the evening as thing were winding down. After the bar was closed, packed, and clean, Bentley decided that he wanted to learn about what goes on behind the scenes of Toasts in Tow. He hopped in and we were able to show him a few tricks behind the bar! Congrats to the happy couple, and thank you for letting us be a part of your day (and meet your awesome pup)!
