On March 5th, we had the pleasure of serving at the wedding of Derek and Marie. The venue, setup, and couple were absolutely amazing.
The Venue & Setup
This wedding was held at the beautiful Venue at Stonebrook Meadows in Bauxite, Arkansas. The ceremony and reception area overlooked a gorgeous hill scene that was highlighted by the sunset. The rustic barn has suites, a kitchen, an indoor reception area, and an amazing patio area. For this wedding, we set up outside just adjacent to the patio. With the actual ceremony taking place outside, this location made it easy for guests to grab a drink on their way into the reception. Once the sun went down, beautiful string lights lit the patio area. This made for a great area to grab a drink and mingle while taking a break from the dance floor.
The Menu
For this event, the Bride and Groom wanted to create an “experience” for their guests while they were grabbing drinks. There is no better way to do that than a “mix your own” mimosa bar. Using our spigots, guests were able to add OJ, pineapple juice, or our signature strawberry mix to their glass of champagne. Guests loved having the option to mix & match and try something new each time they came to the bar. For our non-mimosa drinkers, we offered beer (Michelob Ultra, Busch Lite, and Miller Lite) and wine (Moscato and Red Sangria).
