January 16th, we attended the Arkansas Democrat Gazette Bridal Show at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. We also had the opportunity to attend their VIB event the Friday night before at Just Peachy! The VIB event was so much fun, and the staff at Just Peachy! were fabulous hosts. We were even able to get a custom garland from Just Peachy! to use for the VIB event and Bridal Show on Sunday. The Bridal Show was full of amazing vendors, and we loved having the opportunity to meet everyone. While we enjoyed talking to everyone we met, we wanted to highlight a few vendors that enjoyed hanging out with.
Guys! Have you seen the RBS photo booth camper? It is absolutely adorable. While the little red “Happy Camper” is my favorite photo booth, they also offer several other photo booth options including enclosed and open air photo booths. The owners, Marvin and Karen, are two of the sweetest people. We first met them at the VIB event and were thankful to find out that our booth was located near theirs at the convention center. They were so friendly and welcoming to us as new vendors. At the Bridal Show, they let us step inside of the cute red camper to have our own photo made!
This was not our first time to meet Josh and his wife, Emma. We first met them at an event in November (photos from Josh and the event below), but they are so much fun to be around. When we met Josh and Emma at the event in November, they were so nice and encouraging about our new business. They even gave us some tips for the upcoming Bridal Show since they had been the previous year. At the Bridal Show, Emma even stopped by our booth during the show checking on us and offering to grab us anything we needed (the sweetest)! And we haven’t even mentioned their actual photography! We loved looking at the photos they brought to the show, and we can’t wait to see where this next year takes them!
Mickey’s Cakes and Sweets
Okay, so with this vendor we feel like we are late to the party! The VIB Event and Bridal Show were our first time ever trying cake from Mickey’s, and it was absolutely amazing. On the night of the VIB event, I (Maddie) ended up stealing Jessie’s strawberry cake because it was just so good. On the day of the Bridal Show, we were so busy we hardly had time to leave our booth! Towards the end of the show, we found time to step away and visit other exhibits. We came back to two strawberry cake samples waiting for us in our trailer compliments of Dria from Mickey’s!
We met the ladies from The Crown Shop while setting up our booth for the Sunday show. They were SO fun! Not only did they tell us about their hidden gem, Cindy, who does event florals and Holiday decor on her own, but they also shared how the shop can help with all sorts of wedding needs. They do bridal registries, imprinting and embroidery services, and custom printing for products like Save the Dates and wedding invitations. They also customize products for Bridesmaids and Groomsmen gifts. We were so happy and thankful to be located right beside their booth. The ladies of The Crown Shop continually checked in on us and kept us laughing throughout both the setup and show day!
