On April 29th 2022, Toasts in Tow had the pleasure of visiting the Venue at Oakdale (Little Rock, Arkansas) to serve at the wedding of the now Mr & Mrs Jordan.
The Venue
This is not our first time at the Venue at Oakdale, and we hope it is not our last. This venue is absolutely stunning, and has all the space you need for wedding vendors and your guests. Located in North Little Rock, this venue has a chapel, a reception area, an outdoor patio, a bridal suite, and groom’s quarters.
The Bar Setup
For this wedding, we ran two bars and included our champagne wall. The main bar (bar provided by the venue) was located inside where the reception was located. A secondary bar (our white leather Pop Up Bar) was located outside on the patio area. With two bars available, guests move around more and find themselves waiting in line less! Our champagne/drink wall was used to hold the champagne glasses that would be used later in the ceremony for the champagne toast. Our bride chose the header, “Cheers!” in a gold that matched her color palette.
The Menu
THIS MENU. This menu was a blast to design. After consulting with Arian and her mother, two signature cocktails were picked that reflected Arian, Antonio, and their two favorite pals (Kane and Blue)! A Blueberry Lemon Drop Martini was chosen and named after Blue. This cocktail was made using vodka, lemon juice, and our very own hand crafted blueberry simple syrup. The Kane, a Kentucky Mule, was made using whiskey, honey, ginger ale, and our new (hand made) simple syrup. Some of the guests enjoyed adding our blueberry simple to the Kane for some added flavor! The menu also included wine and a selection of beers, seltzers, and hard lemonade.
