Our 4th and final event last weekend had us traveling back to Northeast Arkansas to the Stan Jones Mallard Lodge. This was not our first time at the lodge and hopefully it will not be our last. We were so excited to be asked to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Joe and Jeanette with fun yard games and yummy custom cocktails.
The Venue and Setup
Stan Jones Mallard Lodge is located in Alicia, Arkansas. With duck hunting tours, lodging, and event space- this venue is perfect for almost any event. This was our second time at the Lodge, and we were once again able to use their beautiful wood bars. For this event, both bars were located outside. One bar served as the beer and wine bar while the other served as the cocktail bar.
The Menu
For this menu, guests had the option to choose between 3 cocktails and a variety of beer and wine! The signature cocktails were named after the golden couple- Jeanie and Joe. The Golden Margarita- named The Jeanie- was made using gold tequila, Grand Marnier, fresh lime juice, and our hand crafted, Toasts in Tow margarita mix. The “Joe Baby” was a classic Tom Collins- one of Joe’s favorites. The last cocktail, the “I Dream of Jeanie” was a pineapple flavored, blue cocktail made with rum, blue curacao, pineapple juice, lemon, and lime. The guests enjoyed all 3 cocktails so much that it was hard to determine a favorite for the night.
With live jazz music in the background and Toasts in Tow yard games available on the lawn, this golden anniversary party was a hit for all ages! Thank you, Jeanie and Joe, for trusting us to be a part of such a special celebration!
