A Capitol Avenue Christmas Party // 12.9.21

On December 9th, Toasts in Tow had the pleasure of traveling to downtown Little Rock to serve at a party located on Capitol Avenue in front of the Arkansas State Capitol. Our host threw the perfect party that allowed her guests to mingle, enjoy some good food and drinks, and listen to Christmas carolers– all while taking in the spectacular view of the capitol and its lights. Thank you to Mary Lewis for throwing such a fabulous party and inviting us out!

Location and Mobile Bar Setup

Just over a block away from the steps of the capitol, the Toasts in Tow trailer was setup outside of the entrance to the party. On the night of the event, the weather stayed in the high 60s making for a perfect evening to be outside. Guests had easy access to their drinks while taking in the spectacular view. The trailer had a single bar setup with hot non-alcoholic beverages served through our spigot system.

Menu

For this party, it was important that the menu included all of the holiday favorites. Our host offered Michelob Ultra, Riesling, and Cabernet Sauvignon as the beer and wine options. For a signature cocktail, she chose the Apple Crisp Mule. This drink is a sweet spiced apple cocktail that uses apple pie moonshine as the main ingredient. This was our second time serving this cocktail at an event, and it was a crowd favorite again! Our favorite part about this party was using the self-serve spigots for hot beverages! This was a first for the Toasts in Tow bar and it went great. Guests could grab a cup and choose between hot chocolate and hot apple cider. Marshmallows were also available to top off the hot chocolate!
